Okie has entered our Prison Tails program for obedience training and will be paroled and ready for adoption after 3/5/10. Here is Okie's description as written by his handler Ireneo Rodriguez.  "Hello, my name is Okie and I'm an 11 wk old pointer mix with a birthday of late Oct or early Nov '09.  I'm a puppy and I love to play, play, play, sleep, play, and sleep.  I am amazing my handlers with how quickly I am learning my commands!  In the first week, I could do the sit and down and in the next week I was rolling over!  I am outgoing and love people and all of the other dogs in the program.  I am also working really hard on my housebreaking so when I'm ready to move into my new home, I won't upset anyone with accidents!"
